Which TSOM logo do you prefer?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

As an artist I was wondering what the consensus on this was?
Among the unwashed masses (& possible the washed as well).

So called new logo, all thought I'm sure you've seen it. > http://www.merciful-release.com/

I hope to hell you don't need a link of the old one. :?:

I prefer the 'new one' because it looks like von popping his head out of his sphinkter just to see if anyone's still watching.

Old. The new one's kindof ugly, the old one has a certain style about it.

Although the old one is obviously a Classic, I actually reckon that, design-wise, the new one is much more 'dynamic'. I like it.

the new one looks more dated as the classic logo these days, so the answer is:
old

(now you can call me a conservative)

They were scheduled to perform with Heino?! How sad that this was not to be.

Also, "the smart money is currently on a late summer / early autumn release. That's 1995, by the way". Heh.

I'm not sure I know who Heino is?!?

Remember seeing the release date set to May 1995 in a record store i Stockholm.. and I think it was mentioned in Aftonbladet or Expressen too. I'm still waiting. :P
