finally the re-issues!

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

well, it seems my prayers for the re-issue "deluxe editions" where answered (in part) by someone in the deepest pits of WEA hell!

All I'm waiting for now is the DVD's of the videos. Oh, and can someone please furnish me with an MP3 of "Knocking On Heavens Door"?!!!

Though it is an excellent example of how two different bands can do wildly different cover versions of the same song!

If you take a small effort to get to know this site you might find it as a download.

Or has it left the Sharing section?

There should still be lots of versions of it knocking around (pardon the pun) in various Shares.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I pop in occassionally and check things out, but I am not local :)

Although I have to say I have found a download of Wake the full video - my original was "borrowed" by someone nearly 20 years ago - as well as MTV 120 minutes too.

Do you think this'll justbe the recent re-issues as a 3 pack?

Looks like a box set of the reissues.

Might be worth something if they decide it's not commercially viable enough.
IIRC there was a 3x or 4x12" box set of earlyish singles, which seems quite rare now.

Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't.

Given that SGWBM and ASCOOB are deleted, and that there are still some tracks (most notably those on the B&S 12) that haven't been reissued, my money is on a box set mopping these up.

It's about 50% based on wishful thinking and 50% on the realisation that there would be next to zero market for a box set of the recent reissues.
