It's an interesting little potted history and interview though.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

He was grabbing the girls or something and got kicked out, no? Strange how that bit hangs a bit lost in there...

Choque was throwing the cupcakes around and generally being a dick. He was unceremoniously ejected. Not sure what that has to do with "1995 and Nowhere" though...
Re: "Mancs always big themselves up." -- Fair point; I can't imagine a Leeds band ever recording a song called "I Am The Resurrection"...

I always thought that I knew the meaning of the word "recently". I was obviously wrong. Especially when in the same sentence with "Far Parade".
Lord, what can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper man.
All those third person replies make him sound like Charlie Sheen or possibly someone the UN might be considering relieving of his dictatorship.
That's a rather generous reading of the situation, although one that we've all heard before.Ben Graham wrote:"his is not for want of new material; since 1993, at least a dozen new and unreleased songs have appeared in the Sisters' set lists
thank you jay! That was really entertaining :.D

This is the kind of impartial assessment I love to read. A great biog and a decent interview too - even has some positive things to say about WH ! Moral high ground time, methinks. So it's official - Wayne alone was responsible for the jangly folk-rock feel of FALAA.Ben Graham wrote: Eldritch is up there with the greats

Or Cesar or Napoleon- any-who i'm agree- that sounds a bit odd. And this interview brought nothing new. And 'Far Parade' ....stufarq wrote:All those third person replies make him sound like Charlie Sheen or possibly someone the UN might be considering relieving of his dictatorship.

His answers were much more indirect and oblique compared to earlier interviews.
"There is also the possibility that after all this time, any new Sisters release, no matter how good, would inevitably be an anti-climax: a possibility that Eldritch declined to comment on in the interview that follows."
Self explanatory, imho.

Many thanks for the link
I thought :-
The synopsis / summary / obituary in waiting / story so far was excellent
The interview whilst revealing little nuggets of info was answered in a rather pathetic manner - somewhat childish, not what one would expect from someone of his intellect.

I love "third person speak" hence I found this interview really rather brilliant.
