Re: Heartland FORUM THING T-shirt

Right, have spoken to the printers and they seem to believe @CellThree and @GC's tees are lost in your respective country's postal systems and they have re-printed replacements and will ship them this week. They'll probably still take a while to reach you - because like the rest of humanity, postal...

Re: COVID-19 coronavirus

Thankfully Leeds is not as Tesco dominated as many other parts of the UK. Locally we have Sainsbury's, Asda, M&S, Co-op and Morrisons. I'm still tickled by the fact that, with the choice of the whole city, Waitrose chose to put their first store invading the grim northern wastes in Meanwood. If you...

Re: COVID-19 coronavirus

Some British stuff, but not a lot. At least i can get Marmite there :) I can luckily also het Marmite... but need to ...

Re: Heartland FORUM THING T-shirt

Nothing arrived yet... Mm. That’s annoying. I’ll chase it up today. @CellThree Apparently yours was dispatched at the end of July - I'd suggest give it until the end of next week and let me know. If it's still not arrived by then I’ll get another sent. @GC can you let me know if yours turned up? FW...

Re: COVID-19 coronavirus

To nick a Robert-ism , I fcuking despair. I really do. Infection rates going up all over Europe right now (thankfully mortality rates remain low) & tightened restrictions are starting to come into force here in Hungary. The supermarkets are repainting the 2 metre distance markers on the ground. I w...

Re: Eldritch and Morrissey?

I never really understood why the press savaged Gary Glitter so brutally but (e.g.) Bill Wyman's relationship with 13-year-old Mandy Smith was just fine. No mention about Zeppelin's 'antics' across the States in the 70's either. But Zep and the Stones had rock cred to hide behind, unlike Mr Glitter...

Re: Eldritch and Morrissey?

He also claims that Klaus Kinski in underated ....FFS Von likes his movies weirder than usual? He namedropped Wild at Heart era Nic Cage in the same sentence, so I only read it as him liking gonzo actors chewing up the scenery. Might as well oooh at him for championing Gary Glitter. You're right......

Very few have mentioned Davey as a catalyst. Odd, even before he rejoined he was being held up, by Chris, as a preferred producer. He has real pedigree and his role in the present incarnation should be ignored at your peril. Davey is the catalyst and Chris is nt....I'm confused. :innocent: A passab...

A physical single would be very cool since it has to have a B-side. Having bought the Nephilim's Prophecy single I can tell you, wasteful as it might be, it's entirely possible to produce a 7" single with nothing pressed on the b-side. But will they bring it out on Cassette....thats how I'm ...

Morrissey - and no not because he turned into a bit of a twit. This was in 2014 when he was still moderately acceptable. Reason- had the flu. What was worse he cancelled the next night because he himself had flu....if he'd doen a day earlier I would have saved 70euros. The Breeders in 2018 - just co...

As has been said earlier Dylan has definetely a Chris Holmes vibe...I can see him now sitting in a swimming pool pouring a bottle of vodka over his head.
