I do appreciate it, belts and cams don't fix themselves. It really hurts to sell but at least the vinyl and signed set-lists are safe.... for now... since it is a Harley. Ha. And yes, I have a Sisters patch on my vest. Ha.

Selling "Postcards from Above the Chemist" signed

I really hate to post this here, but I'd figure I would risk the flames to get some interest. Motorcycle repairs have forced me to sell a few items. :( The most difficult so far: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320120840664 It's my signed copy of "Postcards from Above the...

I didn't say it was for something really cool.....

Well, yes, someone is selling it on Amazon. According to the post WEA Int'l is selling it. However, for their other releases, there is no need for them to create their own page because Amazon would do it, like the current releases of Sisters lusted on Amazon. Being Warner Music Group, you'd think th...

Ok, now I am back to being paranoid again. If you view the US Amazon links, in small print it says "this page created by seller" which means it was not set up by the webmasters at Amazon. Once I logged in it gave me the chance to "update" the info on the page which I did not in c...

If a new album comes out, I am sure there is a much better chance that we might hear something official from BaxCorp instead of the "reissues" mysteriously appearing on websites with typos and alleged "non-existant" tracks. And the record company that is supposedly putting them o...

Rhino Records today released the list of albums it is putting out on October 31st. Sisters is not one of them. One album by Duncan Sheik I believe.

Well, the first number I called at Rhino had no idea what I was talking about but recommended I call "Dr. Rhino" about "future releases" though 30 days from now hardly seems future - more upcoming. Instead I emailed "Dr. Rhino" and will let you know what I hear. I am a ...

I saw a few pics of him recently on Quiff's site. To be honest, he wasn't looking too fresh when I saw them a few years back. As long as the voice is the same and Danny still scratches the strings - that's all that matters.

Hehe. Yes, I plan on visiting the Bauhaus museum - which is why I feel I HAVE to go see them if it's possible. Anyone know if they are doing new material, a mix of old and new, or mostly just retro stuff. I have been so out of it, I didn't even realize the Neph had a new album out.... what.... four ...

Thanks Ozpat. I have a weird knack of popping on here right when something big happens. Might as well stick around a bit to catch up.

Thanks Petseri, let me know if you're able to find anything. My music list is way out of date, but we can work something out payment/trade-wise, I'm sure.

Wow Petseri, you replied to my topic 3 years ago and I am just now getting arounf to read your reply. I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle. But, hell yes I am still looking for the 9/23/99 Washington show if you still got it. I am also looking for: 10/13/99 Atlanta, GA 10/15/99 Orlando I already have th...

Bauhaus in Berlin?

Is anyone on the list planning on going to this show? After popping on here for the first time in a while I see Sisters are touring the States and passing right by me. Sounds good. It got me thinking and I looked up Bauhaus and they are playing the same week I make my first trip to Berlin. Now, I sa...

Yes'm. I will be there. I always pick the best days to randomly check the homepage - every six months or so. This time when I do? Bam - a tour in my neck of the woods. A very good New Year indeed.

The only corrupting thing was having to carry a change purse for all of the money. We prefer paper money and wallets! :) "The Russian flexis, Polish postcards, master tapes and demo acetates. Since you asked." Well, a lot of the stuff I did have and I have since misplaced or drunkenly give...

Hello!

Heh, she's my Honda Shadow Aero and takes up all my time and money. I noticed after posting, Quiff has a pic of him and his Honda in the pics section. And no, no MR logos on the bike (yet) but it's the only patch I have on my leathers. :von:

Stopping by check in and say hello

Hello all - I am just stopping by to check in. It seems I haven't posted in... ok, about 3 years (but my password still works!). I just had a gut feeling last night (while doing my biannual discography listen - in reverse order) that I should check in, and 'lo and behold, I missed a tour (and Andy's...

Ever since seeing Wonderboys a few years back, I thought (pre-Spider-Man fame) Tobey McGuire (sp?) would have been perfect for the role. Everything from his dress to his haircut in that film made me think of nothing else. Not sure he could pull off the accent though. And yes, according to the NME ar...

Well, its a long story. I had started out on the floor very close to the stage, but the 12 hour drive and no sleep, no food, and 5 beers caught up with me as I passed out as soon as the band came on and the person I was with carried me upstairs in the back to the bar. There I composed myself with so...
