I found the crowd at this gig kind of funny - there were lots of very serious looking people standing passively watching this amazing gig. at least at the start of the night. Too-cool-for-school, but actually kind of sad to me. My wife, who had seen the sisters once befor...

I had a wonderful time at this gig. Better sound than usual, good crowd, excellent moshpit.
Spotted lots of Belgians at the Bataclan, some of them putting up a great show as usual.

Seperately, I agree with a previous post which says the guys standing on other people's shoulders in the front are a bunch of posers. You guys block my view and don't be surprised if we try our best to try topple you... Regards, EH Ebby, that is a tradition from back in the daze and was part of the...

You sound a bit condescending dude when talking about the moshpit. I can actually think of enough Sisters gigs where there was hardly any moshing going on (Dour 97, AB free gig, Eurorock, even the Melkweg in 06 was pretty lame). So you can save us the lecture about your moshpit experience... It was...
This must be your first Sisters gig, otherwise you would have noticed there's always a mosh pit at the front. Compared to the AB gigs, this moshpit was very small and calm ... quote] You sound a bit condescending dude when talking about the moshpit. I can actually think of enough Sisters gi...

Another brief review: The gig itself rocked. I had a good time and although the security was quite rigorous to people who tried to make photos they did not do anything about people building pyramids. Good stuff (although I was missing some faces here). Unfortunately there were again some people who...

The gig wasn't bad at all. For a lot of people this was probably one of the smallest Sisters crowds for a long time. No support act. The front rows consisted mainly of Belgians and Germans from what I heard. Oh, and some Dutchies as well. :) There was a nice pogo on Ribbons, Alice, Anaconda, Top Nit...

Alright, Badlander, I won't use the phrase anymore. Just as it is not my intention to hurt people at a concert, it's not my intention to do so at the forum. And nice to hear you saw Lemmy & Co. You must be deaf now like all the other headbangers. The people in the front row, what can I sa...

Besides pogo, stagediving and crowdsurfing should also be considered. Always adds to the fun! A little pogo is okay but you also have to admit that most people don't go to gigs to fight. That's what back alleys are for, if you're so interested. I also find it absolutely silly, boring and stupid whe...

Count Ebbhead in... For bars, I suggest Cafe Molenpad on the Prinsengracht - if the weather permits you can sit outside. It's a 5-min walk from the Milky Way... For Belgian beers, you can go to Golem, not too far from het Spui. I'm really looking forward to this gig. Hope the Dutchies don't let us ...

Cool, a topic on moshpits. I'm in favour of a big pogo on songs like Ribbons, Vision Thing and Alice. How do you pogo on Ribbons? Nah, best song to pogo on stil remains the original Temple  I broke some ribs and noses with THAT song in my younger days, and not especially someone else...

Cool, a topic on moshpits.

I'm in favour of a big pogo on songs like Ribbons, Vision Thing and Alice.

Btw, I recall some Sisters gigs where the moshers were definitely not welcome: Dour '97, Neerpelt, the free gig at AB.

Maybe in Amsterdam...
