all the recordings that i got i shared-wedded-traded them(madrid, barcelona, lorca) althought the taper of those is not happy for the reason that he could have keept for herselve and he didn´t, like other people do..... People are a bit too free with other peoples recordings though, aren't they. Fro...

As a general rule of thumb, in the world as is, the merchant always makes more profit than the producer. i still can't really understand someone getting terribly upset about someone else selling bootlegs on ebay...if there's a moral crime in there, it's miniscule compared to what even YOU do in you...

I'm going to pre-emptively jump to wayne 's defence here. (Although I'm sure he's fully capable of defending himself.) I think wayne's made his feelings known on a few occasions about weeding and sharing, particularly on the issue of the seemingly inevitable degradation of quality that accompanies ...

Re: FLAC help
I have received, in a trade, a DVD containing FLAC files and WAV files. Now, some of the WAV files have the same filename as some of the FLAC files. Is there a way of doing a compare (other than listening to them ) to check if the two sets of files are the same? I'm using xACT and can't find a...

Looking For Low Gen Huddersfield 14/10/84
does anybody have a low/known gen copy of Huddersfield 84. I had a 2nd gen copy but it suffered serious damage in a bizarre radiator leak incident years ago. I can do a snazzy cdr transfer if you have a good cassette source, also.
thanks

It is ultimately the choice of the person who records and shares. I know that someone did a DAT recording of of the Leeds gig and that it is supposed to be very good. I've seen him offering it up but my collection is more wide-encompassing then rare so I didn't really have anything he was after. In...

little known fact, somewhere there is a copy of bradford 84 , possibly MX :innocent: which is so good it nearly made it to album. the artwork was done and everything it was the same guy who was doing the leeds 85 sbd LP set, he wasn't a big sisters fan and never completed the job. He was seemingly ...

Assuming this is not just a big wind-up, and assuming you really do have master tapes and not safety copies why don't you just give JR his master tapes back ? If you auction the tapes off its likely they're just going to disappear into some sado collectors archive who probably hasn't got the equipme...

I always bootleg shirts - they were selling good quality ones outside the Blank Canvas for £5, who cares if the font is wrong - for a band who doesn't release product anymore - hows anybody going to know ? I figured I'd been fleeced once for tickets (and beer) I wasn't taking another hit on t-shirt...

Karst, If you can get hold of a name I can clarify if theres a second source or not, I haven't got any 2003 tapes except my own so I can't compare sources with the description you give. Wayne Wayne - I got this through the weeding process. From C3 if I remember correctly. This is the one where there...

Any idea who recorded this one - I know of somebody who did this one (not personally but I can dig the name out), it was described it as good as the time but I don't know if it ever got off his MD's. There may be more than one source. Right. Did a remaster for someone through Tapetrader.com - this i...

The list I got it from aren't into selling so Idoubt it - also as the bloke only records from the sbd its likely that they're trading jam type bands so unlikely that any 'for profit' would be tolerated. As for addressing - I've stopped for the above reason, I just put 'Wayne UK' on it if it gets los...

Trading To Belgium - Any problems, Anybody ?
Has anybody had any problems trading with people in Belgium. A while ago there were stories circulating that Belgium customs were behaving like rottweilers on heat when they opened packages containing cdrs and suchlike - basic idea was they threatened the receipiant with legal action unless he revea...

and wouldn't be copying some tracks from vinyl - there are a few variants of this tape floating about - the idea may have been corrupted and added to over the years
