Seems to be an ongoing trend to announce gigs a year or so in advance now. Very considerate of the bands to give you the opportunity to cough up your hard earned dosh so far in advance, thus allowing them/the promoters/venue etc. to play with the money in the meantime...greed greed greed :| Bit sur...

Every now and again. I got "Into The Abyss" by Sex Gang Children when I was wee because of the cool (Dore') illustration on the front. Depressingly I've been almost totally conditioned to look more closely at records with stark images in perfect square borders on black backgrounds with the...

Have developed a seemingly usable hardware drum set up for the modern live band. Programming/Storage: Roland TR 707 (or any programmable midi drum machine) ---> Alesis Datadisc (Basically like a digital recorder for midi instead of audio). Live: Alesis Datadisc (rackmounted) song by song realtime mi...

We (TG) record all our gigs. At first it was so we could listen back and identify what needed improved, now its just post-show audio masturbatory material.

New Eden House Tune

Found this boot from their gig last week... I think it's the first airing of the new single (which'll be an 11min 12" if I heard correctly).

I couldn't make the gig due to work, which I now regret because this looks and sounds like it was awesome.

Great gig! Wasn't the best atmosphere I've ever felt at a Sisters gig (Leamington Spa or XXX top it for that) but it was by far and away the best sound and performance (both vocally and instrumentally) I've ever heard from them. Von was good and loud, the gunslingers shot to kill (loads of cool feed...
