Killing In The Name Of. Christmas No 1!!!

I only just found this out. There's been a campaign to stop the X factor winner getting the Christmas No 1 by getting Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name Of to the top spot. I think this is hilarious. Apparently, for it to count for the Christmas No 1, you need to buy it after December 13...

RIP Keith Floyd.

A true legend.

He was a fan of the Stranglers and "Waltz in black" was the theme tune to his programmes.

Just listened to it at full blast in memory of the great man.

Signed. Why in Britain do we revere some quite shameful imperialistic right wing dicks, yet treats our true heroes with disdain. An official apology from the establishment is long overdue.

Big Brother/ Alice

Did anyone else clock Lisa the Big Brother housemate singing Alice on Weds.

Seems that Alice is quite popular for prime time TV. First on the trailer for the BBC's Robin Hood and now on Big Brother.

To be fair most of Judaic mythology (apart from the Caananite pantheon from which El and Yahweh, along with Asherah, Baal, and various other gods mentioned in the Old Testament originate) is very heavily influenced by Sumerian / Akkadian / Babylonian myth. I'm not sure if this dates from the Babylo...

We should expect Kate Bush as a female vocalist?
In another 12 years. Didn't :von: once say he'd like to do a duet with her, or was it a threesum with KB and Joanna Lumley?

Re: all 3 albums reissued with bonus tracks.

This is a sign that new material is on the way. Warners aren't stupid (Well :von: would probably disagree), but if they have caught wind of new Sister's product, they will re-issue to capitalise on the event. Vision Thing re-issue doesn't look that great. Could have included YCBTO.

Oh they did.

I'd love to say something really profound like above the chemist, but I actually spent a good amount of 1992 on the Bovey Straits and above Pludda House, when I wasn't there I was in the Parrot or at Monroes calling our audience a bunch of c**t.

Hi Matt, how you doing?
