More Sax Appeal from the NX gig. I was upstairs front right and captured a few hundred images and some videos - phone got very hot.

I'll post more if anyone interested.

Suspect most using digital satellite fed into Dolby 5.1 decoder / nicam video fed into PC capturing as WAV unless fortunate enough to have DAB receiver.

But it is a nice personal letter with the free CD (actually it's better than the CD, sounds like someone doing a bad Bob Geldof).

Last word honest. If you've done a copy of anything copywritten for a friend, even passing on a recording from TV, and the recipient has bought you a pint, given you a ciggy etc... or has returned that favour, you've received payment in kind. The idea of making the collection available to all was ce...

Many thanks for your comments and I'll take them on board, we seem to have sparked a healthy debate at least and the forum's getting plently of viewing! If I may reply to a couple of your points raised I think you fit into the "downloadable media" and "bootleg media" catagory. It...

So me obtaining (illegal) bootlegs, copying them to either CD-R audio or MP3, flooding eBay with them would be alright - check out the auctions, piles of bootleg unoffical releases - but a legit service is deemed dodgy.

So long as the buyer has all the originals, its quite legit. If they don't, that's not what it was aimed at and I certainly don't advertise it as such.

Is the selling of bootlegs a legal practice? :?:

Oh yes. If SARS was around in those days, the number of people coming out of the loos hacking and coughing would have sent a wave of face- mask panic buying! The girls are now ladies and most still are. Having been lucky enough to watch many get ready in the morning, the precision as to how the make...

Spot on. The Mayfair is now called The Gate and houses what was the Odeon from Pilgrim Street (11 screens) and a multitude of small gift outlets. Many a brilliant night spent at the Mayfair and the after show parties - all just a fading memory. The smell of Nivea hairspray on a passing luvly brings ...

My twelver was £ 69 from a wonderful second hand shop in Newcastle call Grott Guitars - the only place I've ever seen an eight string bass.

And Slicepack's quite right - limp handshake and terrible to keep in tune (the guitar not Wayne - well maybe  )

Backups for people who have the official releases but perhaps don't have the means or the time to do their own.

The collection was never intended as a means to enhance a collection that never was (!?! Eh)

@Pikkrong & @Andy Many thanks for the welcomes. Me thinks the forum needs pushing up the search engines, it's currently on the third page of Google when doing a search and by far, this is the single most informative site I've ever had the pleasure of perusing. Special thanks @Andy for the info :...
