The games industry is triple the size of Hollywood, so it makes sense for labels and artists to look for opportunities where they can.

First interview in years where I felt like I've learn't something new, but it reads like a bunch of pre-written questions sent via email rather than an live Q&A. There is some gold in there that doesn't get any follow up lines of questioning - for example telling us he has has no feeling in his ...

Like a say I'm not saying one is right or wrong. I also still keep paying money to see them (although not regularly) so I do keep going back to pay my due to the chap that wrote the soundtrack to my teenage years, out of some sense of obligation. About the point expecting them to be the same 30 year...

Saw the Violets in SF last night (I just happen to be here for work).

You have to respect them. They still look and sound great. It also shows they do it because they love it - they are playing to crowds of around 100 every night.

At least now I know that it was a good choice not seeing them again. Will always love The Sisters Of Mercy when they were a working band. When they developed and sounded fresh and up date. They have sounded the same a decade now, playing the same songs and versions a decade now, and nostalgia is no...

Great thread - interesting comments about risking your life to take photo's at gigs back in the 80's - cracks me up going to gigs now - seems everyone wants to watch the band via their mobile phone, rather than actually enjoy the show.

It sure is weird seeing posters of Sisters shirts all over London underground! I wonder if it'll catch on? If the film is a success we could see a Ramones style adoption of the Head & Star. Eldritch would be wise to at least get that design printed officially. At the moment I think the only pla...
