Wikipedias state: "Andrew Eldritch - backing vocals on "After the War", "Speak for Yourself" and "Blood of Emeralds" But I've found no anecdote as to "why" Eldritch is on this Gary Moore album. Until facts arrive I look at the titles as being anachronisti...

It could have worked if they'd had access to the original tape and mixed it properly. This is just a superimposition and the performance doesn´t gel too good.

How about a transcendental rendition of Body Electric. The main riff is still catchy for the floors.

That (link) stage looks filled with liberated coffers.

Re: Re-recording?

The re-recording of Alice on the UTG EP wasn´t too hot though, except for some vocal parts. I certainly do not agree. I just listened to it again. It is not bad, the direction is fine, but it totally sounds "demo". The very high-end type of sound of Floodland and Vision Thing is not to i...

Re-recording?

I would definately say that the Temple Of Love of 92 is a far greater piece of music than the original. The re-recording of Alice on the UTG EP wasn´t too hot though, except for some vocal parts. Is there any other song anybody would like to hear with a new studio take? Personally I think Body And ...

The fact that this is a MFSL release is what makes it interesting, they still use an all analogue signal on the pressing. Nearly all other vinyl reissues are CDs pressed on vinyl, most cutters use a digital spacing process, which converts the signal to typically 16 bits, and then back to analogue, a...

Considering what´s going on in the world at the moment, the lyrics certainly comes across as pretty accurate rather than goth-deathposer-romantic.

The second world war was never finished, you can clearly see that in the eyes of any transnational banker. They don´t wear shades.

I guess AE just doesn´t like it very much- for if he liked it very much I´d suppose they´d be all over that doo wop thing on stage. Usually when you open an album you start with what you feel is one of the stronger tracks, so perhaps there were peripheral circumstances tarnishing its original she...

Black Planet Never Played Live?

Am I correct in the statement? I can´t seem to find it on any live output...

If so, is there any particular reason as to why that is the case?

To these ears it definately sounds like "throw the key and call her some day" and "throw your love under law". . I cant imagine Von employing such a service as keen even if he has been on drugs a lot....that´s like the last exit for the lost. For some reason I associate some of ...

Merry Thoughts & AE

Yes, I know I can download a BPM meter but it is quite difficult to get it exact. I was thinking that perhaps soms DJs already had it figured out, most of the songs have been stapleware for underground DJs for eons already. Thanks for the additions.
