I keep reading about AE being above certain things...like the VT album - the guitars were IRONIC. I'm taking the p*ss out of them. Does that mean he's not putting them in to sound good to his ears? It's been 3 years. I've changed my opinion. VT has some great songs. Like RIBBONS. And the title track is really catchy, and I kind of *like* the guitars now. I have to say, this album has some REALLY cheesy/fake sounding guitars. And this is coming from a fan of guitars of all kind. Real/fake/sampled/whatever.
