apologies for the grumpy post above. I'd have been much happier if eldritch had changed the name of the band. It's like watching the sad demise of an old friend.

Sorry if this offends anyone, BUT.... NME is read by wankers. Wankers who think they know about music. They think they know about music because they read the NME. To all intents and purposes, all they know about music comes from the NME. This article exists to give them some "goth" knowle...

gravitons, that's the future. get 'em patented. scientists amuse me when they deny anything that their machines cannot weigh or measure, unless of course it can be postulated. I'm working my way through bill bryson's book at the moment, excellent read it is too. Surprising to see how much has been d...

On the whole spreading of "childhood diseases" thing, I'm actually vaguely worried on a personal level. As far as I can remember I never had measles or mumps as a child, but I think I'm too old to have had the MMR when I was a baby. (Although I'm pretty sure I did have what we called &quo...

I must say I don't have complete trust in the medical profession, they do as well as science informs them, at that moment in time. Well that's the thing isn't it? In the ten years since Wakefield's fraudulent research was published, all attempts to replicate the results have failed. There is no cor...

There's a guy at work who is convinced that the jab made his son autistic. With the best will in the world... he is wrong. Vaccines don't cause autism. But I don't want to call into question anybody's parenting. never say never... maybe the kid had a weakness in his intestinal tract, isn't somethin...

We considered getting the individual jabs, but went for the combined in the end. Our daughter and her friend had a bad reaction to theirs (very painful, fever etc...) but our son (a couple of years later) got on fine with his. The bods in the clinic said the formula had been changed in between. Ther...

Much as I'm a massive Big Black fan, I don't think that kind of aggression would work with the Sisters. But perhaps someone who has produced a doom/death metal album could do something interesting with them. ooh, doom would be lovely. :D Sounds like all pretty much agree on what we want. So how do ...

Personally I think the more money that has been spent on SOM recordings - the less interested in them I've been. Not a huge fan of the prod work on Vision Thing. Floodland is ok - sounds a little bit dated now... FALLAA still stands up and the EPs 82-84 sounds great....So there :) My musical tastes...
