Yah, but that would only be true if the refererence point wasn't Thu Jan 20, when the message was posted.

Gotta have reference points. Perferably big ones, with gold banners attached.

QB makes some very good points, but a part of me would just like to see the whole thing put to bed before it gets embarrasing for all involved.... I saw Depeche Mode a few years ago, and compared to their prime, it was dull and lifeless. Having said that, Nick Cave is pushing 50 and the news of new ...

a week from the next one.

Also, because CDs revolve a lot quicker than vinyl, and the faster you go time slows down (thanks Einstein), if you play the new album alot on CD, it'll actually end up being older than an unplayed $300 copy of Damage Done.

Ah, but we all know the times between Sisters albums has to be measured on a logarthmic scale... which makes the next one due about a week from next tuesday.

There's a surprisingly large number of goths in San Diego... but not half as cool as we were back in the day, so they don't count.

Nah, I'd think I'd rather hang on to me memories... Remember what sad old farts various 60s band used to look like in the 80s? I'd hate my teenage favorites to end up that way... Havin said, that I like the way Mr. Marx has moved on to new things, with a nod to the past. That's the respectable way t...

Given the current exchange rate, I think getting it made and shipped would be relatively cheap.

And not being one for frilly dresses meself, I think its pretty, well, pretty. Go for it!

Yes to everything in the last three posts.

What's he got to gain by releasing a new album? Right now he's the rogue 'could be'.... if he releases something, he risks being a 'has been'

My money's on a new Ghost Dance album first :)

@nodubmanshouts I like your style Why thank you  and since China was the centre of the Opium trade, back in the heyday of the Empire (and we're all aware of Von's empire/white-suited-diplomat fixation [pun intended], with all of it's implications of romance and assassination), then the preceed...

Yeah, "Corporation" would be a good translation, not far off the mark at all. Which brings to mind "a love for the corpse for the corporation..." Ah, the lyrical webs we weave :D Also, remember that the lyrics for TOL were written in 1983, along time before that interview took pl...

Alrighty, a bit of a stretch, but I study Japanese for a hobby and was just looking at the word 'kaisha' which means 'company (that you) work for'. In Japanese, this is two characters, which (if this comes out) are 会社 Almost all Japanese characters were borrowed from Chinese, a...

Personally, I find the nose hair to be the biggest issue. Knees were going, but are now at the state of stopping me from dancing. That's okay though, nothing new I really want to dance to. Looks like you're sorted... and doesn't exactly solve your question, but Windows Movie Maker isn't bad and comes free with Windows.

Quicktime Pro will allow you to edit movies together - costs $29.99 (about 15-18uk I think), which isn't too bad...
