Re: The Great Heartland Biscuit Thread

Laws that keep civilization from falling: Don't use teabags. Don't put milk in tea. Don't dunk anything in said milkless tea. We really should have a Tea Police. I almost wrote we really should have a Tea Party but realised that didn't turn out very well in the US.

Re: Official Sisters Merch

Ordered my third Jesus shirt. They keep getting worn to pieces plus a 2017 shirt which I never bought at the time for some reason. If we are requesting clothing... How about the Vision Thing lyric shirt and the Andy Warhol cross shirt please! I need new ones! :notworthy:

Re: Hello!

to be honest i cant remember them or how they sounded so i'm going to guess at "indie/shoegazers" . BUT i know they played Reading on the same day as the Sister. and even though i dont actually remember seeing them that day (thus backing up my guess that they couldn't have been my cup of tea) my 19...

I don't know about Morrissey but Johnny Marr was really complimentary about the Sisters. Mind you, Johnny Marr is a really nice guy but I think he meant it.

Can't help with the set list here, but I'm 95% certain this gig was a Friday, not a Monday. I'll come back on and apologise if I'm wrong. A night spent in Sheffield bus station is not something I'd recommend to any gig-goer, however battle hardened Sheffield train station was no better! Absolutely....

Gig safety

So when will you feel comfortable going to gigs again? Must admit I think going to anything this side of Christmas is a mistake and that (sadly) includes the pub where social distancing is difficult or impossible. How do you social distance in a gig?

Have no love for Boris or the Tories but I hope he recovers. Wishing him or anyone else's death is just horrible. I hope we're all mature enough to realise that around here at least.

I work (as some of you good people may now) in the arts in Derry and am self employed. As the Republic is in lockdown and every arts organisation up here postponing or cancelling things, most of my projects have just stopped dead. It's a Levi denim jacket isn't it? Or a "wrangler" like we used to call them, no matter what the brand, back in the day on the Wirral. Growing up in Gloucester, we always called them Levi's too. Best matched with a pair of skintight denim jeans (which were probably more elastane than denim) made by...
