Not quite press, but a review of the Worcester show. Not a good one though. :| http://hubpages.com/hub/sistersofmercygothband hmmm... I personally layered on twice the eye make-up worn in my day to day, dug out my black anarchy symbol tee shirt and had my “old english script M necklace on. I w...

Looks like a Green Party candidate in New Haven is a Sisters fan. "“The numbers are looking pretty good, said Green Party candidate Ralph Ferrucci, reached by phone at the Sisters of Mercy concert at Toad’s Place, where the bar TVs were showing him at 3 percent. " http://www.n...

The perfume advert I've just seen..for something by Boss I believe. Instrumental music - The Hardest Walk by The Jesus And Mary Chain. What's the world coming to? :? First Jon Lydon advertising butter now this. What next? Ian Curtis on the Nationwide adverts?  Oy. I've seen some strang...

Finally got a chance to listen to your recording bismarck, the whole thing anyways, today at work - fantastic. I'm certain I probably got some strange looks because I couldn't help myself - sitting here at my desk, big goofy smile across my face and toe tapping. Sounds like a great show, I'll have t...

Thanks for the welcome... Nicole, we did get Flood II as well, I'm just getting old, LOL. To the best of my recollection, it was after Corrosion. Very good news - one of my fav songs - seems in past shows it has been the last song before the encores, they could be mixing it up a bit. I'd still like...

Hmm...Philadelphia 1997, Philadelphia and DC 1999, DC 2006, and I think one other time in DC too. They played for less than an hour, and the vocals could barely be heard. The show stopped abruptly with an announcement that "the fire marshal has stopped the show", but I'm not sure that I b...

- If you buy a secondhand md recorder, make sure it has 2LP modus (long play). The qualityloss is not too much and you don't have to change the mds during the gig. This way you can record 160 minutes. A Sisters gig lasts for about 80 minutes. If you start recording after the opening act has finishe...

The girlie shirts (UBG and tour shirt) are definitely not the same cut/shape as the Militant Sex Machine one. They are longer, very slightly "cut according to body shape" (a tiny bit narrower at the waist) and I think they have a round neck. S to XL size is available. good cause I feel ki...

Re: Female vocalists

If we are ever graced with another Sisters album...who would make for some nice girly vocals and/or duets? Teri Nunn..giving it another go? RIP Ofra Haza..you are so very missed! I'm gonna throw out Azam Ali(she did vocals for the film, 300). Unlikely...Toni Halliday(Curve). That would rock! Also.....

Thanks DancingtheGhost - I'm betting the tour shirt is $30, I seem to remember that's how much all of them were last time. A warm hoodie sounds nice - I work in an unheated warehouse at a computer so I'm always freezing at work in fall and winter, I always need warm clothes! I wouldn't mind at all p...

Re: Taping...

It sounds like you cannot afford a digital recorder... too expensive... but tape is cool. You will need bring a few for easy flip (sort out the order later) and watch the time. Wind the blank tapes forward a bit with a pencil or something so recording starts immediately. Also, a recorder with a plu...

Just got a PM - appears the show may be being taped after all (probably with something far better than I could afford - a trip to the city for us is a bit pricey itself) I'll probably still look into some things, see what I can do - multiple recordings are better than no recordings. I was dis...

I'm trying to talk my best pal (my ex-bf) into attending the HoB show. He's quite socially-phobic, and is loathe to go out alone. Taping help?

So - it seems there aren't a ton of people going to the Chicago show, only one other poster here (looks like a newbie like me) I'd be willing to tape the show but - I have no sort of equipment, no experience with this kind of thing, and not a whole lot of money to get anything either. I also don't k...
