Bastille Day?

Incidentally, why aren't the Napoleonic Wars considered The First World War?

Coincidentally, my wedding anniversary in 14/07.

Funny you should mention the Smurphs. We also have a tribute to Siouxsie and The Banshees, called The Happy Haus. The name was influenced by The Sisters of Murphy because I thought the name was a nod to Peter "Murphy" for no apparent reason.
I’m sure Murphy’s is a tribute to Irish stout.

If it is "Barbie Rock'n'Roll", here are the lyric for Dolly Parton's "Backwoods Barbie" They may be relevant. I grew up poor and ragged, just a simple country girl. Just watched the the Shada ‘re-animation’.

I liked it.

I’m a Douglas Adams fan and the Tom Baker era was my era of Doctor Who (watched from behind the settee- the Mona Lisa still makes me think of one eyed spaghetti monsters). Nice bit of nostalgia... Cheers.

I've got it on my shelf but not managed to read it yet. Elements of Shada were lifted into Holistic Detective Agency, but only a small amount - typical Douglas Adams, he goes amusingly off-piste quickly! Another new Doctor Who/Douglas Adams book; https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/1111938/doctor...

Probably more than you think, and you don't have to look to Islamic tradition. There is archeological eviden...

I enjoyed the gig. Sound was better away from the mosh pit but it was fun being boisterous and being thrown at the stage during Jihad. Wish I could go again 'tomorrow'. Great seeing old friends.

That's the point I was trying to make. This 'silly' squabble left us with the Middle East we have today. When I watch the Doimion video I imagine Eldritch playing GB and Morrison France, but I guess that's just me.
