Re: What?

Hasn't there been a change in copyright law where if a recording is over 25years old and it's never had an official release in 25years, the person who recorded it is allowed to release it. Not 100% sure but I think there was a thread on here somewhere. There had been a spate of Bob Dylan boots rele...

Justin Sullivan is doing an acoustic gig outdoors in Nottingham at the end of June but it's a Sunday so I'll be at work, so my next gig should be the Girls three nights in London, followed by T'Mish in Norwich.

I'm just waiting for my second dose of Oxford AZ. I felt a bit rough after the first one so hopefully, the second jab won't be as bad.
My first dose of AZ make me quite poorly for a few hours, the second had no effect at all, so hopefully you will be okay.

I had my second jab over a week ago, according to figures on the BBC news website, twelve days after the second jab my chances of contracting covid in the UK are one in one hundred and fifty THOUSAND. Happy with those odds.

One favour fb has it's very easy to post pics etc. Downside to HL to post pics is very complex! Can you make it any easier Mods? Thanks. Vanessa Thing is, FB has its own servers to host those images. Farms of them. Posting an image that's already hosted on a sever is a doddle on HL, but it just nee...

Anyway, does anyone else think Eldritch is married? I noticed he wears a wedding ring and I don't think it's been mentioned before. I really need to know. There was a bonkers reply to that the other day where someone opined that "I always thought Andrew wore a wedding ring as an ironic metaphor for...

Re: Gift reissue plus extras

I'd be surprised if Von sees any cash from anything that happens on a streaming platform or in a record shop. I think there's a reason that he's toured so relentlessly for the last 20 years and it's unlikely to be because he likes the buffet breakfasts in Travel Inns. As much as I like Spotify, I d...

Maybe someone should show Cadiz the BBC sessions stuff that has come out digitally and the soon to be Record Store Day release. Maybe it will incentivise them? I assume AE sees some money from the BBC session releases (both digital and limited LP)? I'm not sure he will. Didn't he flog the rights to...

It's the nothing was good after 1985 (or 83 even) thing that tends to get me.
Meh. N00b. They went sh1te after Ben Gunn joined.

 Madness isn't it?
I was a huge fan in the early days, then they did a Genesis and let the drummer sing. I lost interest after that.

I imagine that where they went wrong was asking for Von's input. Most record labels realised that was a bad idea decades ago..

The whole "we need to be sure about Astra Zenica because there may be a very small chance it may cause blood clots " was always bollocks. We KNOW cigarettes and alcohol can cause blood clots but I find it unlikely that European countries are going to halt sales of them anytime soon.

Got my tickets for all three nights. If they are able to go ahead with the gigs by then, I fear there may be spacing measures in place. I reckon the Roundhouse is big enough to accommodate a decent sized spaced crowd and they're doing three gigs... I don't see how "spacing measures" could be implem...

I still think it's too soon. I still think it won't happen. But tickets bought. Absolutely. But I assume if (when..) they are moved to for example February next year, they would still be on a weekend and still valid. The worry for me is that if these gigs don't go ahead (relatively) soon, then they...
