Not bad. "Flight of the Demoiselles" sounds like Ultravox (Midge Ure era) meets The Cult. But who wants to hear that in 2009? I mean, post-punk/new wave revival is not interesting, maybe even less than other revivals. Because the purpose of post-punk/new wave was to do something NEW. So th...

My friend also told me that Lucas Fox said Andrew was a very cultured guy. It's not a scoop, but it's not a lie - I think.

Yes, but anyway, I told what Lucas Fox had said, I didn't say it was the truth.
And it seems that he is not the only person not to tell the truth (if he lied) in this whole story...
Anyway, I will meet him soon for an interview, hoping to get more precise answers.

Of course... But it IS a "stressful situation"! A very stressful one, indeed.
Moreover, this incident made that his paranoia went worse than before (according to Lucas Fox).

Yes, I agree. But one can argue that music is not necessarily supposed to be just a joke.
These two songs are also my favorites. :notworthy:

Of course Andreas Bruhn played on all tracks. I don't think that Tim Bricheno would have been on the album sleeve if he had not played a single note on it... But the most important is that if you compare his playing of acoustic 12 string guitar on the Vision Thing tour, and the acoustic guitar on th...

It's not very known, but John Perry (former The Only Ones) did bottleneck slide guitar (for example on "Detonation Boulevard") and some solos. I can't imagine Andreas Bruhn play 12 string acoustic guitar or even solos... Andrew is credited for guitars on the album, but I'm not sure at all ...

BeyondThePale wrote: Even Tim Bricheno's guitars (I was a lot into All About Eve) are not what they should have been. Probably because they're not there. He didn't actually play on the album, only came along to have his photo taken. He did the tour though and (I think) Temple Of Love 1992. Someone ...

Ahaha, sorry for that!
Of course, I'm note sure at all Lucas Fox was saying the truth. But at least it answers to some questions.
If you want I can ask my friend to tell me again more precise things. He talked with Lucas Fox a long time.

I agree, "You Could Be The One" would have been one of the best tracks on the album - even if it's a very catchy song.

I remember to have been very disappointed by Vision Thing when it came out. And it didn't changed. I listened a lot to the album at the time, because it was the Sisters, not because the album was good. But the lyrics were still so good. Before the album came out I heard the single "More". ...

A friend of mine recently met Lucas Fox in Paris. Former Motörhead drummer and enginer on Floodland told him interesting things. Among others: 1) When Wayne left the Sisters, he took with him music, equipment and instruments. Andrew went mad and paranoiac about it. He took the habit to hide a lot o...
