Best of Heartland Compilation Tape 2019
Another couple of recovery days spent reading Heartland posts...some great stuff here and some dreadful opinions and thoughts...wanna hear my 'best of'? Top of the list has to be all the denials of any bad sound to the guy who was grumbling about the bad sound. Which was concluded with an interview ...

question here is, does having both Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins on stage adds anything to the experience? I mean, Peter Murphy + David J was pretty much a full blown bauhaus gig imho. Hell yeah! Daniel Ash is just one of those great guitar players. Innovative like Alex Lifeson, obscure, like Robert...

Oh I'm all for the Final Cut and for me it's totally a Pink Floyd record the way that fat Vegas Elvis was still Elvis. It wasn't the Hound dogging boy, more of a Les Dawson come Supernova thing, bit of a car crash but still Elvis. Final Cut was The Pink Floyd dead man walking. The stuff after was li...

I can't see Wayne being serious about anything and I mean that in a good way. Gilmour had a career that he'd spent fifteen years building. He knew a solo tour would keep him in baked beans and best butter but a Pink Floyd album and tour would keep him in extreme wealth. and after playing guitar like...

i really enjoyed wayne's book. for starters its by far the least up-its-own-arse account of the period that i have read thus far, written as it is by someone who, like those of us old enough to have been around then, was/is a part of the scene.....unlike some mainstream fu cktard hack who blatantly...

One of the highlights for me was finally finding out who actually plays the guitar and bass on the version of Emma that was on the B - side of Dominion. Well it sure wasn't Wayne and Craig.... Check the Sisters FAQ here on Heartland for correct info.[/img] Interesting. Wayne maintains that it is hi...

Ach That was a good one too..where have I been! I had the Sisters sound down to that heavy bass more than the drum machine, and the very distinct guitar sound, but definitely the voice. Craig changed his sound when he left The Sisters, for me it wasn't as good, not as distinctive as his Sisters stuf...

Just done what I think are the final tweaks - I think I'm done with it now; maybe I'll change the images so that its more a gallery of the various line ups. Funny thing was I thought I knew enough about the sisters to write a short bio in half an hour and chuck it up there - I didn't expect it this....
