Successful cover versions rarely sound like the originals. If you want to sound like a 'goth' or even a 'Sisters' type band, choose a song from outside that era. Maybe not the programming, but....a mate of mine said he met Dan Donovan of Big Audio Dynamite and he toured with the Sisters at some point and switched 'Doktor Avalanche' on and off.

First was Wembley 1992. Last was probably Glasgow Barrowlands in 2000.
