I am looking for the Japan replica 7" single...
Did anybody listen to the 2009 reissues of the first 3 7"s ? I saw they were available in black, red and white vinyl...how is the sound quality ? Is there any chance to get at least the debut 7" ? Thank you very much !!!

I bought the mp3 download on Amazon and checked the files. Great waveforms...!!! BUT: They used the wrong "Body Electric" track (the one from the early 7")...!!! I hope the right one will be part of the new vinyl set - otherwise it would be a useless piece for all the collectors out t...

this is exactly what i have on vinyl. this release don't include a show, but most of the radio one sessions and two early live tracks, tagged to the end of the LP. i listened to the record again. besides the fact that it runs too fast, you can clearly hear that it was sourced from another vinyl boot...

since the early 90s, i always enjoyed my "they are not departed or gone" bootleg LP, but since the digital re-broadcasts were available, i can never listen to my vinyl...it is incomplete, runs too fast and sounds bad, compared to the digital broadcasts. sure, it is dab stuff, lossy format ...

haha...you are right !!! i was thinking about the cover picture for some days, but for sure it was pungent stench !!! time to celebrate that record again
back to topic: is there any vinyl boot available, including the complete digital broadcasts of the three bbc sessions ?

i compared the album version with the remix and they sound really different indeed. now my compilation is done...i will continue with the sgwbm project in the next days. almost the half of the stuff is done

i am curious about the "lord of darkness" bootleg lp cause i could get it for a nice price. anybody out there who owns that record and could tell me something about the sound quality ? does it sound like cassette recordings or was it sourced from the digital files ? any idea would be very ...

really i never knew that and suspected that it is a special mix on that promo cd...

at the time i am compiling another singles, b-sides and rarities cd-r for my personal collection, but i never had any chance to listen "detonation boulevard (remix)" from a lossless source. it would be very great if anybody could upload a straight promo-cd-rip of that song. thank you very ...

with the eq i tried to lower the hiss and make more music audible by boosting some of the upper mid range. sure, it will always sound bad, but i think i did the best possible job, considering the crappy sources...

i will upload my speed-corrected and reEQed versions later. sounds slightly better, compared to the kenny giles bootleg.

i only tried to improve the horrible quality of the three "alice" demotracks (i added to the compilation). the stuff on the 3 cd box was great. i had to fix some azimuth problems here and there and restored peaks and amplitudes of the third disc, that's all. is there any better version ava...

i have the 3 cd compilation "demos and ouutakes 81-86" and it sounds nice...but the alice-demo (3 songs) is not included there. i managed to get a lossless copy from the "kenny giles walks on water" and did some EQing and speed correction to add them to the 3 cd.

as the 1985 lp is a compilation, i am sure that some additional mastering (eq tweaking) was done to the tracks. the original 7" should represent the sound exactly as it was heard in 1982.

Where are you from, country I mean? Otherwise, I have good sound recording gear, but just an ordinary 20-yo Philips turntable... maybe that's good enough? IZ. i am from germany - but why is that important ??? i have 25 years old technics turntables - and still love them !!! if you have good cartrid...

sorry, i never heard about an official reissue of the single...and a bootleg, sourced from another vinyl with equipment nobody knows will definitely sound VERY different, compared to an original one.

i am looking for the best available sources of the 3 songs from the february 1982 basement demo (1969, good things, alice) in lossless quality. are the versions on the keny giles bootleg the best ? if yes, please upload the songs in lossless, as i own an mp3 version of the compilation only. thank yo...

at the time i do the final work on my personal restored and remastered "some girls wander by mistake". i never could listen to that compilation, cause the EQing was horrible and some of the vinyl rips sounds still bad (especially the "body electric" tracks). it would be great if ...

i taped some metal shows in the early nineties, but when my aiwa stereo recorder f*cked up (it was really expensive), i stopped that.
