Ah, well. That's me redundant then. Always suspected I was!

At least my lifelong tactic of avoiding people whenever possible is finally coming into vogue.

I have CV-19. It's 4.30 in the morning and I can't sleep for coughing - so I am self medicating with Rittenhouse rye and listening to First & Last and Always hoping that one or the other will help me get some sleep. All I can say is that - yes - the illness can be rather mild, but the symptoms ...

Oh, I thought it was 'you're lovely' - but I do have a notoriously tin ear.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Von mostly communicates by mime, yes, but it was still a great gig. He seemed pretty chipper, messing about, having a daft laugh. And the mass singalong was cracking.

There's a pub at the back of Albert Hall, the Ralph Abercromby - dunno what the beer's like though, I've only been as part of a 'ghost walk' (they laid bodies out on the bar after Peterloo, apparently).
