Heartland

I just found out about James Ray. I don't know what's the consensus about this, but he played on Floodland, right? I think the guitars on his own projects have a very similar sound.

That's what I thought. Hopefully we'll get some sort of archival release some day (but I guess these master recordings still belong to the label)

Does anyone have more info regarding the other master version of this record? I remember reading somewhere that they trashed the more polished version because what they thought the earlier version sounded better. I'd be curious to hear the discarded master. I know people usually look down on this re...
