Re: Vision Thing revisited

Don't really like VT as a whole. It DOES have some shine, but the title track and the Dio song give me pause. I'm mostly a FALAA and earlier guy, but like Floodland as well. I also think the current crop of songs like Caligula, Suzanne, Crash and Burn, Here, Show Me, etc are stronger than most momen...

Re: 'HERE'. The successor to 'Paint My Name in Black and Gold'

Which songs are better is a matter of taste, obviously. To me the main diference between the 4th and the 5th album, so to say, is the development of the songs. The 93-98 songs were composed and performed with the idea of a proper recording in mind, so they sound more "finished" to me. The...

Is this a mistake, as it's not listed on their site. On Fillmore's site there's no show on that date. it's listed. https://www.thefillmoredetroit.com/shows https://concerts.livenation.com/the-sisters-of-mercy-detroit-michigan-09-14-2024/event/080060A3E5524C25?_gl=1*108a1bg*_gcl_au*OTUyODY1OTU3LjE3M...

Re: What ever present tune in recent ish sets could you happily do without?

Ahem, don’t hit me, but I never ever liked Lucretia. I could happily live without ever hearing it again. I would really love Will I Dream, War On Drugs, Lights and Floorshow (only on the last day of the tour to let his voice recover afterwards  ) to come back on. Alternatively I stand by my f...

I like the new songs, I just would like more than FALAA and Marian off one of the greatest records ever recorded. Would prefer if VT was ignored instead.

Re: Is Von crazy for not making another album?

I would like him to, but it's ok if he doesn't. I love that they're a "Legacy" band, yet their setlist is as if they're touring on a new album that no one has ever heard.

Re: Best Star Trek movie(s)?

Wrath of Khan. Undiscovered Country. First Contact. Voyage Home. I even like the first JJ Abrams one a bit. The only ones I really don't care for are The Motion Picture (same experience as GC) and Insurrection. I have a HUGE soft spot for 5 as well because we had it on VHS at my parents and my broth...
