Re: Von in Louder Than War
Already posted by Mark himself - didn't look in the proper places before. Sorry, my bad.

Green Ginger Jive Trailer
Wrecking Ball Sounds have released a mashup they call a trailer for Mr. Marx new record:
Not sister-ish at all, as expected, but seems a good portion of fun.

Re: What do you think really changed in Andrew's handling of the band/brand?
Not only the imperfections but also their unattainability. When I first discovered the sisters in the late 80's, finding their earlier recordings wasn't easy. Lot's of great stuff was only available on live bootlegs. Fast forward to the 2020's and much is still unattainable, except for Youtube. Doe...

Re: Kai as a permanent member
None of this is to downplay the contributions of Dylan or Chris before him, just that the addition of Kai added something new to this iteration of the band. Haven't seen Dylan life, but am sure he was great and would never doubt the merits of Chris - nor those of Ben, just to make this crystal clea...

Re: Kai as a permanent member
Being the new kid here I hope I'm allowed to have my say on this old(er) story as well. I saw the show last Nov. in Vienna, so less than a month after Kai joined. I was aware of the change shortly before, having read some reviews, so I expected some limitations in his stage works, and there where so...

Re: What do you think really changed in Andrew's handling of the band/brand?
I'm literally a contract lawyer who worked for 27 years for a major record label. Your theory is highly unrealistic. I promise. Well, that's better than guessing. But nevertheless you killed our favourite conspiracy theory! What should we argue about now? The secret recipe for eternal power supply,...

Re: What do you think really changed in Andrew's handling of the band/brand?
. A pity about the Pearson-penned songs, but I think there is enough material to put together a record of respectable quality. The "Pearson said no " argument has been around for decades, but is it actually true? If Von wants to release them surely he can, he doesn't need anyone's permiss...

Re: What do you think really changed in Andrew's handling of the band/brand?
I think I can’t throw in some facts as well, I’m afraid, nor on Dylan leaving and about new songs. Also, I'm not that much into esoteric conspiracy theories, and yes, it’s all a lot of guessing, but my guess is also that if Von would want to make a new record, he could and would. A pity about the Pe...

Re: Introduction
I‘m from the North of Germany. Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony). For live recordings you might find the Sharing section helpful. But to avoid random people downloading them and then selling them on eBay, you only have access after a number of posts. So just participate in the chats a bit and suddenly y...

Re: Introduction
Are you from Austria? You mentioned Vienna… Yep, Vienna in Austria. So I guess we're neighbours - where in Germany? Sure looking for one or the other live records, but as a next I made the plan to gather all the official recordings. "Body & Soul" is still missing, 12" from "...

Introduction
I guess the first post should be an introduction, right? So, it's, well, about the Sisters and me... In school there have been two path that could lead into coolness; one was athletics, being star of the football team, and so. Of course that wasn’t for me. The other was the artsy, boheme thing, and ...
