I've got an appointment for my first vaccine on Saturday morning :D
Me too, and my wife a week later. Did not expect to get an appointment today (last time I tried the DC vaccine website crashed after 3 whole minutes). My father in Texas is getting his second dose this afternoon.

https://static.next-episode.net/tv-shows-images/huge/fringe.jpg Finally it's on here in its native language & I love it. It's a bit batshiat in places, but I really don't care. Oh, I loved Fringe . It's like The X-Files crossed with Altered States to start, and then it really gets going.

Re: NEW NEW SONG (On the Beach)

I ve found that very few artists can publish lyrics and make them stand alone poetry without having music...exceptions to this are Leonard Cohen (no surspise), Nick Cave (sometimes) and Pet Shop Boys (surprisingly) , and some early SIsters, up to and including some of FLAA. (this is all very subjec...

I thought the lyrical analysis was quite compelling, actually. It was one of my favorite elements of the book.

Re: Gift reissue plus extras

FWIW, Gift is one of my all-time favorite records, and I'd love a remastered version. But If Andy is in a position where he doesn't actually need to do these things, then good for him (as much as I'd like this and a new record).

Re: currently cutting a rug to

I wonder why they used a mirror image of the Moon If I had to guess, the designer wanted the treeline to look like it is descending, and since we read left-to-right in the West, flipped it that way. Just a guess though. Now that I am thinking about it, it also helps create a sense of motion from le...

I like the Bad Seeds plenty, too, though I lose interest in the band around the same time Blixa Bargeld lost interest in the band. I can't even wrap my head around what the Birthday Party must've been like live. I remember the first time I heard them I was just floored.
