another quality turn by the girls! Love the variety in the setlist these days. Different first songs ever night Police car and Blood money dropped in favour of Kiss and Gift that Shines. And set list and encores mixed up. Tonight seemed mucb better paced than last night, particularly storming Domini...

Re:filming. The Glasgow gig was basically a warm up gig for the tour, perhaps the band didn't want footage of possible forgotten verses , bum notes and sound problems circulating. More likely Von had a bad hair day. In fairness, there's no reason a jobsworth loves to give for running someone else b...

Wow. That's pretty impressive setlist! Love that Valentine and Summer are back and 1959/ Jihad?!?! Roll on Leeds! Just goes to show that while the girls might not be releasing records they still aren't just a pure nostalgia show (...and yes i am aware of the irony in claiming that playing songs that...

A bit dissappointed with this. Have been getting all the Velvets deluxe boxsets over the last few Christmass & would have hoped for more. The album and the ep's is just a missed opportunity. Why not throw in a few demo's/out-takes alternate mixes, and maybe Tiffanies or the RAH? As someone said, if ...

Accommodation booked - and this time, might bring the kids! You might as well as 12 euros each ... http://suikerrock.tickoweb.be Accommodation seems clearly more difficult. Yes, and if you're not driving it makes sense to get somewhere in or as near to Tienen as possible. Last time, we made the mis...

While I have loved every incarnation of the band, to me the greatest incarnation is Gary, Craig & Benn. But without Mr Marx - there is nothing. I personally admire that Eldritch has - so far anyway - The Sisters have never drifted backwards into the nostalgia market of classic album tours or origina...

rumours and speculation
It's crashing hard on the end of Feb and there hasn't been any gig speculation? (Or was it somewhere else and i missed it?)
I doubt there'll be a significant tour (at least i Europe) but maybe the odd Belgian, German or further afield festival would be nice...
Any know or at least care to guess?!

Great piece! I really enjoyed that. Funny to think of them playing their respective 'Alice's' too each other! I was always curious if there was any overlap between the two. Nice to hear him talk so generous about those times and Andrew, especially when there's no obvious mention of him getting a pr...

Yes, I understand that. Actually the Sisters also compose some new music (though not very often) and they play it live… exclusively live. I’ve been thinking about it recently… e.g. DM releases a new album every 4th year with, let's be honest, 2 good songs, otherwise they live from the songs o...

It was fun :D I've only slept a very few hours so gonna keep it short, but the things to remember about this one was the return of Lisa on backings for some songs (Arms, Corrosion, Temple, maybe some more?) and the fact that Andrew seemed happy as a schoolboy because of that (how he picked up her m...

I tend to lurk rather than post here, but its clear from lurking for a while that the fans over 44 who knew the Sisters when they were a functioning band pre Floodland are consistently disappointed by the current product, where as the younger fans are pretty happy. Not saying one is wrong or right,...
