Don't think that anyone has raised this before, but apparently there is a new James Ray album collaboration, just out before XXXmas, called 'Twenty Five Men' or something similar. Anyone know the details? A friend said there is some info on myspace but I've not checked that yet. released April the ...

Re: Contractual reasons for not releasing "new" ma
We don't queue outside gigs from three in the afternoon drinking cheap vodka and sitting on kit-bags anymore, we don't pay £10 for cassette bootlegs at record-fairs anymore. The Sisters don't release albums anymore. The whole culture of The Sisters is dead.... aye, 'appen yer right, t'ain't like w...

What a crazy price. I know some Sisters fans who got into them over the Floodland and Vision Thing periods and really really hate Body and Soul as being far too wet, but I have to say I really like it! Still wouldn't pay £200 for the promo though, £20 maybe, but even then I'd have to think about it.

Didn't know there was a live CD! Can you shed any more light on it? Soundboard recording from a gig in 1993, no idea of venue. Tracklisting is: fuel, rev rev lowrider, sinner, a strange kind of stranger, badlands, hell blonde tiara, take it, hardwar, without conscience, lowdown, luxury, destination...

I bought most of the James Ray stuff when it was first released and i didn't ever see the 7"s mentioned above. I did one see a mail-order listing for a Dust Boat cdsingle, from an indie/alternative record store in Cambridge but didn't chase 'em up, and have never seen any other reference to this ver...

Side 1 tracks were all pressed up as the Floorshow EP. Side 2 tracks were pressed up as the Damage Done + 3 live boot and the Good Things + 2 bootleg. Not sure about the last Sister Ray version though - is that on The Damage Is Done lp? Am sure it's on a bootleg somewhere, but I don't have my databa...

Is there any between song chat that can identify this as being the 8.5.83 BRUXELLES, MALLEMONT-FESTIVAL tape? Im happy to have a listen to it when i get in from work tonight to help clarify this At the beginning of Valentine Eldritch mumbles 'one song'... Before Gimme Shelter he says 'Oh oh, here a...

Are there really any young 'goths' at all these days? The only alternatives seem to be either emos or metal-goths, both of which are totally 'off-the-peg' (ie there's no thought or effort in it any more, you can go buy 'the look' in one shop in less than 10 minutes), and IMHO is rather corporate and...

Perhaps Leeds Museum should commission an oral history on the Leeds music scene in the 80s, before all the old goths die! And the young goths show up @ Centre Pompidou? hehe, a young'un told me recently that they like to be called 'Emos' these days, but I wouldn't know as we don't get much news in ...
