Isn't the 'On The Wireless' boot supposedly direct from the masters if the sleeve info is to be believed.

Would be nice if the Sisters had the same treatment as Siouxsie did some years back with that bbc sessions & tv appearances cd/dvd box set!

Thanks Pista! I thought i must have the 'egotist' setting switched on.

The US College Mix appears on the 'Demos' bootleg lp and also some copies of the Victims Of Circumstance tape.

Just checked the Nocturnal 2cd compilation from 1998. It has the 3.59 single edit on it.

Off the top of my head + Spiral tribe unofficial mix + video mix with crack of thunder at start + 4x sisterhood/james ray demos from 1986 + worlds end mix 5.36; not sure if the version on the soundtrack CD includes the special effects from the snipet used in the film Didn't someone weed a 2cd set o...

It seems criminal to me that a studio version of Gimme Gimme Gimme was never properly released. Presumably they will have rehearsed it before playing it live (or possibly not, given how ropey it was!)

^^ I recommend you track down the original releases, the remasters have some useful bonus tracks but fail in the sonics department. I provided a needledrop of Underdog to the label that did the Bandcamp project but it was admittedly quite a ropey transfer due to the condition of the disc. I doubt w...

The Kenny Giles compilation pops up on ebay every now and then, although pretty rarely these days. Didn't a Greek bootlegger re-press it a few years back? Has any one compared the sound quality of the two versions?

It was a US magazine advert around the time of Vision Thing, late 1990. Nevermind was late 1991!

I found a handy guide to identify varieties of goff here Under Great Gothic Kings: Andarek Eldritch, or as he is known by the enlightened "The Abdicated". excellent article! I really enjoyed the gig, even though I was stone cold sober. It started with 'Ribbons' which is the best way to start a Sisters gig IMHO. Didn't intend to stay for the DM set but am very glad I did. FALAA Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab issue

Saw yet another reissue of FALAA on sale on ebay yesterday for far too much money, so did a search and also found it here for alot less: http://www.mofi.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=239 It would appear to be a heavy-vinyl repress which is supposed to have a much better sound quality. Depeche Mode live Crystal Palace 1993 on BBC6

I noticed this morning that Gideon Coe will be playing tracks from Depeche Mode's set at Crystal Palace in 1993 tonight on BBC6Music. Presumably that'd be the one which the Ssisters supported at, which begs the question: did Auntie Beeb also record the Sisters set? I've emailed Gid to ask. Maybe if ...
