In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Those kinds of dates don't sound like they were best before, during or after. The one saving grace about custard creams is that I've never heard that they can induce such distressing symptoms, more likely a sense of mild disappointment.
