The site says less than 2 weeks but that's cutting it pretty fine..

If we meet at De Zotte, from around 5 pm, those that would like to have a meal can do so and of course the pre-gig drinks. I phoned tonight and reserved a big enough table. 8) If you walk past the Melkweg on the way to the De Zotte, it might be a good idea to pick up the membership cards before the queuing starts.

The after party, I'll leave for the locals to decide.
The Melkweg stays open for awhile but I'm not sure if there will be any parties going on after Queen's Day?

If you look on your ticket it should say "lidm. verpl. (3,00) - te koop aan kassa." Which is a membership card that allows you to entre the venue.
It's a dutch thingy that both Melkweg and Paradiso have. Valid for a few months. It costs an extra 3 euro's and can be bought at the entrance.

Hiya all!

To lovely MB: smoking is 'gedoogd' i guess, been to a lot of gigs at the melkweg where people smoked their butts off, in general it's okay it seems, as long as the playing band doesn't asked for a smoke-free enviroment (that would be very sisters-unlike). otherwise there will be signs hanging in the venue saying that smoking is forbidden during the gig..

for the membershipcards a 3euro, you can buy them in advance on the day itself, the venue ticketcounter is open from 16.00 - 18.00..

and cafe de zotte, hell yeah!

For bars, I suggest Cafe Molenpad on the Prinsengracht - if the weather permits you can sit outside. It's a 5-min walk from the Milky Way...

For Belgian beers, you can go to Golem, not too far from het Spui.

I'm really looking forward to this gig. Hope the Dutchies don't let us down. The crowd sucked big time when Skinny Puppy played last August.
