Hello all. just joined today after popping inand out of here for the pats few years. I hope I have this posted in the right forum. Me and some friends decided that the US needs a Sisters tribute band. I don't know of any others here in the US. We're called The Reptile House and we are here: http://www.myspace.com/thereptilehaus

I am Wayne Fussey. We plan on doing only early material up to FLAA with a few from Floodland thrown in. 1 vocal, 2 guitars, 1 bass and 1 iDoktor.

We'll have some live mp3s posted shortly as I'm hoping to get a few songs recorded tonight at rehearsals. Comment's, suggestions, or tomatoes, throw them our way.

Greetings And Salutations And Welcome :-)

As for US Based "Sisters" tribute bands - I think you should check out "First And Last And Forever" Tribute CD - That has a few US Bands on it

I've heard of it. Are these bands still active and playing live? Once we're fully up and running we're really trying to do some shows outside of San Francisco. Wouldn't mind headintg over to Europe if the opportunity knocks although they already have The Smurphs.

Thanks...We're working on it. All in between original projects so it's taking a while. Set learned so far: Alice/Walk Away/Marian/Train/On The Wire/Dominion/Jolene - Next up - FLAA/Andrenechrome/Poison Door

You have to learn how to spell them before you can play them.

Nah! They were played sloppy sometimes, so they can be spelled sloppy too. I'll get it right next batch!

just discovered your "pleasure and pain" myspace page. Nice samples but what is the meaning of the word "entschliebung"?

edit: got it if b = that "sz" letter (ß)

You got it Doc. (thanks)

Regarding tribute bands: I was never a fan of them myself either. It was been quite fun playing in one though. After being in a band for 9 years prior where half of the time was horrible experience, this is a breath of fresh air.
