Gig reviews, set lists, thoughts, comments and observations on the 2008/2009 Sisters tour, including the Autumn/Winter 2008 U.S. and European 2009 legs.
Along with Leeds and London were hoping to also get to the Lima gig (if KLM drop their prices a bit).
Does anyone from Peru have any info on the venue etc. We will probably be stopping in the Miraflores/tourist district, so how far is it from there to the venue and what is public transport like in Lima.
Any info will be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

it seems that the cheapest tickets is 105 american $
so in the forums the people says that it seems that almost no one can afford it

That's a hell lot of money ...
I really wonder what audience the organizers were expecting when contracting for the event?
i heard something like 45 € (abouty 55 $), but in a place when 90% of the people gain about 100 $ seems to be hard to afford the gig
...if you think other more known bands like Depeche mode willo play the months after.....
thanks...my Lord...i'm unbeliver
tear up your pants for psicho...and jump on him

if that's true, ouch
and it would be a shame as i know the guys are really looking forward to a few days in peru aferwards (now that mexico is off)

You want to ask Lex3000 - he was on about going when I met him at Leeds.
There were always shows in both Curitiba and São Paulo. They were always only one day apart. So why would the São Paulo gig be the 'reason' the Curitiba gig is canceled???

I'll Explain, Curitiba it's 408kms from São Paulo.
So they would play in são paulo june 4th, curitiba june 5th and then são paulo again in june 6th.
So they just cut off curitiba gig.

ah, thanks. so one more special show in paulo and few songs drop out of curitiba?
btw. 408kms isn't big distance at all
According to the Brazilian tour company site I checked out, it takes 6 hours to travel that distance. Must be a pretty hellatious road.
So I can see why, if Curitiba hadn't been selling all that well, and given their recent history with tour buses, they might opt not to make that trip twice in as many days...
