The British Band, formed in Leeds in 1980 by Von(vocals) and Marx(guitars) arrive in Porto Alegre at march, 8. With only 3 albums, TSOM become one of the most influencial bands of the 80's.
The band inovate when they decide to use a Drum Machine, who they call Doktor Avalanche.
The Studio albums its - FAALA, Floodland and VT.
The gig 'll happen at the Gaucho's * Capital on Burboun Country Teather.
*Gaucho = Slang for who live's in Rio Grande do Sul.

Oh yes, in 2009 there were arrangements with Curitiba as well ...
seems promotors in South America have to be somewhat flexible when contracting bands and venues ...

Morrissey has cancelled his gig in Porto Alegre too.

(BTW, i wish i could watch Morrissey gig in Sao Paulo it's just a day after the sisters gig, but the price it's just awfull, something around 120 GBP)
