I see that the legendary Anouk is on on Friday night. Could she be this year's Lisa Cuthbert ? I'm sure that she'd do a great job of one of the slower songs like Lights or I Was Wrong whilst Von has a fag break.

Got the good news over the phone two days ago, booking tickets asap :D. Lucky that it's about an hour drive from home, like the last gig (Zottegem).

Booked it! Coming from San Francisco. (I'm traveling mostly solo, with the promise from a man to meet me in Belgium for a day or two...I don't believe most promises.) If there is anything interesting going on in the days before/after, or if anyone has any suggestions for how to navigate / where to stay/ etc., I'm all ears. I'm brave not very good at getting around on earth and all that.

I'm flying into Paris and making a vacation out of it.

I should probably buy the ticket to the festival now, eh?

Would it be worth hoping that it will be any different from the 2014 gigs aside from setlist? (As in, hopefully they'll bring a bass guitar?)

Is this worth it's own thread?
  • The band race through an oldie in 2 minutes flat: have a drink.
  • Von forgets half the lyrics to a song: have a drink.
  • They don't play Adrenochrome: have a drink.
  • They don't play Far Parade: have a drink.
  • New instrumental cover-version (it has to be Rumble this year): have a drink.
  • Von does an interview stating that "half the set will be songs you've never heard before": have a drink.
  • Lisa Cuthbert guest spot: have a drink.
  • An FALAA tune is resurrected: have a drink.
I kid because I love.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I remember, early or possibly mid naughties, a Sisters guitarist with big hair - Afro-esque if you will, I still wonder if that was Chris Catalyst. Just interested in Eldritch not sure who else did what and when... :)

I don't think Chris has ever had an Afro  He used to have a Mohican when he had hair.
