I haven't been to a Sisters gig for a few years as the sound was crap, the vocals inaudible, the set list predictable and the whole event rather disappointing.

Tonight, however, was quite remarkable. The backing track clear, the guitars crisp and the vocals not only there but at times one could almost say sonorous. The track listing was different and the tracks were played differently and with enthusiasm and energy and the band seemed to be having fun.

My only complaint was that it was a tad quiet. That could be that I was at the back (or just going deaf) - I didn't realise it was such an early start and didn't get there until just as The Sisters were starting.

Whether it was that my expectations were so low but I would put this down as one of the best time I have seen The Sisters this Century

Another solid gig. The band looked like they had the most fun tonight.
Nice venue and quite intimate down the front

I'm not too keen on 1959. I heard them sound check it and Eldritch sang it perfectly. For some reason though, when it comes to performing it live, he stumbles.

eldritch's voice was astonishing at times- i swear he sang the best ribbons ive heard since wembley arena. an equal to the jaw-dropping leamington spa gig for me.

on personal notes: great to see Johnny again for the first time in 10 years, and meet his lovely girlfriend; get to know rob zombie better and meet his lovely girlfriend; meet Mav787 for the first time; catch up with eva & eggi, and briefly say hi to andrew s and hispaintedblackness... i think that was all the heartlanders i saw (though i know there were others there.)

and i got a body electric t-shirt....a near perfect evening. :von:

another quality turn by the girls! Love the variety in the setlist these days. Different first songs ever night
Police car and Blood money dropped in favour of Kiss and Gift that Shines. And set list and encores mixed up.
Tonight seemed mucb better paced than last night, particularly storming Dominion. Crowd were well up for it!
And finally got a set list!!! Signed by Chris, Ben and Dave. Waited ages for the elusive lead singer dude, but be was, well, elusive i guess! Seriously, what does he do in there while all the lads are down the pub?! You think they'd let him come at least once
Von - Great gig lads!
B+C - Yeah Ands, not bad...
Von - Any plans for after the show?
B+C - Errrŕmmmm
Von - cos i heard there's one of those aftershow parties you always go to and chat with the fans... I was thinking .... Maybe, if it's alright with you I could come?
Chris - Erm...
Ben - Andy, you wouldn't like it. It's just full of people talking about Wayne and Patsy And remember how you feel about them!
Von - oh that's all water across the floodland (chortles)
Chris - yeah but it'll be about why dont you do this that or the other. And you know how you are about other peoples input?!
Von - About that! I was thinking we could put a sugggestion box on the website. By the way, what's the password.
B+C - look Andy, great chat but we've really go to run
Von - But what am i suppose to do while your are all supping pi nts?!
Ben - What everyone else does to kill time - go on facebook
Chris - or twitter, instagram...
Von (looks confused while B+C get their coats on and hurry to the door.
Ben - you could always work on the new album (sniggers)
Von - about that... guys... guys...

..but to be serious... As far as I can see and it is my own experience, too, that one has the least chance to get close to him on an afterparty.
Before or after the gig, in a cigarette break in the parking lot, in front of the bus or the venue or in the street… at random places with a bit of luck.

Fantastic version of Jihad!

It's a shame that the 25000 vocals didn't make his way to the live version.
