Thanks a lot for all your live reports, ruffers, a blessing for all of us who couldn't attend this by accident shortest-ever tour :notworthy:

2010 was just as short, and I'm not yet fully convinced that all gigs are cancelled.

However, between waiting for my notebook to bite through shuttered bites, I've done a page for this concert here.

These are the links to the videos on YT, so you don't need to go to the SistersWiki... with many thanks to Ingo ... :D :notworthy: ...

Another fantastic gig! Not often that I get to see the first & last night of a tour.

They were even better than Leeds. AE was all smiles and chatty. Davey looked good be, yet again, having more fun than anyone in the venue, and Ben & Dylan were in top form. (Yes Swinnow, you should have gone to Nottingham)

Much fun with everyone in the pub before and after. Even managed a healthy pre-gig meal!

There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.

Great news EPWB, I have received pics of the pre-giggery from a Midlands buddy, am sure you can guess who.

Hope they make it over the pond for you come the autumn, and will look forward to February anniversary gigs.

See you soon and just get home safe n sound.

Liverpool 1 - 0 Atleti at FT, so extra time.
Atleti goal disallowed in last minute due to clear offside. Was mostly attack v defence.

Back to the excellent Ruffers in the studio....
So how did that end up?

My team in red tonked their opponents

If anybody has footage of the daisychain in the mosh pit during TC I would welcome that. Seemed mad from where I was standing

Now why does the admittedly scary mental image of the aging mosh pit boys performing a human centipede amuse me so much?

Stay safe and KTF.

I had a great time :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Great sound (if a little quiet), great view and Mr E looked like he was enjoying himself! Lack of smoke was a little disturbing

after completely hammering it in Leeds (even by my standards -must be getting old!) i felt like utter s**t in nottingham. watched the whole gig from the relative sanity of the balcony which made a change. was unimpressed by the sound but that seems to be something that is becoming a feature of rock city gigs- never used to be like that. that said, the band were in good form. apologies to all for my lack of sociability- sometimes you have to act your age i guess.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

'Nice to see our new songs for The Sisters of Mercy getting some top feedback! We’re a great writing team, this band, and I’m proud to be part of it.'

Aww, bless him :) well, next time his peers are chatting with him at festivals, he can be proud of his own songs and not feel remotely awkward about 'just' being the guitarist that currently plays someone else's tunes :D :notworthy:
