Oh I'd love to go. Glasgow is such a lovely place.
But hell, this year there seems no way for me to travel to the UK at all.
However, they're coming to Cologne, which is great ... :D ...

It's done an admirable job of avoiding gentrification. :wink:
Have seen Peter Hook, the Bunnymen, the Mary Chain and Amyl and the Sniffers there post COVID.
Remains my favourite venue in the country.

Doesn't look good for moving to a larger venue - Barrowlands is already booked that night, which only leaves the Academy.
While I could see them moving from a 1250 capacity venue to a 1900 one, I'm less convinced they'd go from 1250 to 2500.
If you haven't got a ticket Twickets will be your friend. :|

I'm sure there'll be a reasonable contingent of the MacHeartlanders. Just a pity there's little in the way of options near the venue for pre/post gig drinks. BrewDog is a bit small, but there's always the option of lowering the tone at the Finnieston.

The walk to the venue for the Gig and then back is good for creating a thirst :wink:

Plenty of Pubs nearby in Finnieston but the majority are very HIPSTER :| As it's midweek it's also a "School Night" so a late one could be a problem for those that need to be up early the next morning.... :urff:
