Not really.

As Sabine (Being645) will testify, the whole German/kitchen thing is totally fucking weird. :urff:

Move into a new flat/house?

The previous tenants either dismantle their entire kitchen and move it to their next flat/house, or sell it to to you at a discounted rate.

Yes, you can move into a flat/house with no kitchen. :urff:

Kitchens for flats (however tiny) with all appliances cost approx €4k.

I was kinda thinking maybe some of us Germans could benefit from cheap kitchens, and then weigh up the differences between cost, shipping, delivery time, and fitting?

Maybe I was wrong.

... ... me?! ... ....

I'm not the kitchenette type ... and I don't have a TV, but still there's no escape from offers on TV at aroud 2K ...

Beyond that, we (my family) sold the kitchen of my late brother ... phh ... it was hard to get any money for it and took some patience ...

and if you look around online classifieds you find loads of perfect and pretty kitchens for way below 500 quid, ta... 8) ...

How is it that the spam is almost exclusively kitchen based?

It used to be watches & finance & the occasional kind soul who wanted to send half a million dollars directly to our bank accounts from Nigeria.

But kitchens?
Seriously?
Cheers.

I think it's because we've got a lid on the automated spambots, but these kitchen twunts are actually doing it in person.

They'll be sorry when their hosting provider takes their site(s) down for breaching the terms and conditions...

Oh... so no chance of a cheap kitchen for me and Bine (mine)?

No? Then vielen, vielen Dank. You dictatorial, pest controlling bastard.

PS: Bine (Being645) why do you crazy fucking Germans also remove all your light-fittings as well? And just leave a bunch of (earthed) wires hanging out of the ceiling/walls?

It's a very strange country to live in at times... but I do kinda like it. Kitchens and light-fittings aside.

Great! Now you've binned the Southampton guys as well.

We need to be able to cook at home Mark. Man cannot live by take-away and sandwiches alone. It's in the bible.

But on a more serious note, I think HL should sick (sic?) their lawyers onto them.

And buy me and Bine (mine) a new kitchen with the damages awarded. Or simply negotiate a new kitchen as damages. But not too cheap. I do have standards.

It works for me! :P

PS: I'm not helping much, am I.

You want HL to vomit lawyers? Can we mince them up first to make them easier to swallow?

I'm just loving how when I've clicked on a few newly registered members over the past week, they've all got a 'kitchen' URL in their profile.

They're trying to out-flank you Mark. They're building up their armies and waiting for the right moment to strike.

I'm sure your Admin/Mod box of tricks can see more than me.

Just a heads-up, but I do love the phrase 'Ban Hammer.'

A lot. :von:

Pushing through HL's new posts
So many posters sighing
News had just come over
We had no new kitchens
Left to cry in

Mod guy wept and told us
Cheap kitchens were really dying
Cried so much his face was wet
Then I knew he was not lying

I hear sand-paper rubbing, sealant-filling, hand-held electric drills
I see men, flock wallpaper and crazy ideas.
My brain hurts like an IKEA warehouse
My kitchen had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things
To store everything in there

And all the kitchen assembly people
And they were a mix of tall/short people
And all the guy standing around doing nothing
And all the somebody people
I never thought I'd need so many people

A Mod my age went off his head
Tried to change some kitchen cupboards
If the Quiff hadn't a-pulled him off
I think he would have re-built them

An electrician who knew fuck all
Started pulling out wires randomly
A John knelt, and threatened to punch his lights out
And a Bine was disturbed at the sight of that

I think I saw you in B&Q kitchen-hunting
Looking seriously stressed
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
Don't think you knew which DIY store you were in

And it was dusty and noisey as this reply dragged on
And I thought of Mark and I wanted to get back there
You're arse, my rage, the way that you talk
I kiss you, you're beautiful, I want you to walk

We've got five minutes, sneaky cupboard installed
We've got five minutes, Mods are asleep
We've got five minutes, my brain hurts a lot
We've got five minutes, that's all we've got

Just a heads-up to the Mods, but new user pedesasin appears to have a kitchenesque link in their profile.

For everyone else grab your cheap kitchen whilst you can. The Mods want you to be a sad Goth warming up tepid soup on a one-ring portable hot-plate, sitting on the floor in a bare room, devoid of cabinets, work-tops and appliances. Whilst they speedily prepare their seven course gourmet meals in a spacious, solid oak kitchen, fitted with state of the art appliances, all bought at a discount. It's all about control.

But, rather than leave it there, I did some furious googling around and, yep kids, even the Ultimate Handyman web site has been spammed. Repeatedly.

However, I would urge caution from the Mods as further research unveiled that one of the contact telephone numbers is in... Manchester. And if you accidentally dial the Liverpool number, it automatically diverts to Manchester. Allegedly.

I have no wish to cast aspersions, but maybe, just maybe, we're seeing the first examples of inverse viral spamming marketing networking, so prevalent on NK's Kwangmyong network?

Interestingly enough, I had a very productive email exchange with David Icke this morning. Sisters' fans don't hide it. They all walk around with 'REPTILE' on the back of their t-shirts.
