As I recall, the row wasn't about the "The Sisters Of Mercy" name. It was the use of "The Sisterhood" as Wayne & co were playing under that moniker to begin with & Von wasn't happy about it.XidiouX wrote:

There's also the question of what would have happened if both parties had kept their word? Maybe the Hussey camp would have become The m*****n straight away. As for Eldritch, would he have returned in a band with a completely different name? As a solo artist? We'll probably never know.
I might be wrong, but I think The Sisters Of Mercy was already registered as a company in Von's name, so that was never really in any danger.
