Sunday Bloody Sunday

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

What will you be doing this Sunday?

Too many options. Only one for me though.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

What happened to the "None Of The Above" option?

As for me I will be rising early to visit a local *cough* "Market" to laugh and snort at the crap designer gear they call "Clothes". I will also consider buying some Peters Pies/Pasties and one of those dodgy Jumbo Hotdogs with Onions

Prancing with Heartland's Black Sheep @ the Phono

Ermmm... No taking no train, so this is the clear option?...

Edited: I see now it's not the best option, but forgive me, I'd be there if I could...

Hmmm probably going to bed at anywhere from 7- 10 am (yep, in my very own time zone... I'm not cheatin') wreaking of alcohol, pondering how I got in this jam as I listen to tunes and try to keep the eyes closed... Ah yes, gotta love nights of debauchery :-P And here it will be a Holiday weekend so that very night will be a clone of Saturday night... completely a winning situation

Or... saying my prayers and kissing my ass goodbye from yet another hurricane threat... hmm maybe i can still manage to get drunk...

Gotta' love the element of surprise

well, last sunday was a rather groovy day on the whole.

went to beautiful downtown bramall lane for a morning of footy bliss (we stuffed dirty leeds ;)) and then played all my fave records to bunch of pi$$ed up ageing goffs between 7pm and 1am. then went back to mine with me' mate and watched elvis' 68 comeback special dvd while drinking vodka & cranberry juice and neat whisky.

finally crashed out at about 5am, woke at 3.30pm monday afternoon

i love bank holidays... when's the next one? ;D

Crossed the Pennines to shake a leg at The Phono- marvelled at their £1-on-the-door entry policy, got very nostalgic for years gone by, practised drinking cider and got very good at it, wondered why no one had turned the dry ice machine on, obeyed the Quiffmeister by dancing to Dolly Parton, laughed and laughed, tripped on the Kirkstall cobbles.

Next Sunday I'll be bricking it at the prospect of starting a new job the next day, so this was the best way to spend my last free Sunday night for a while. Sunday, Bloody Sunday indeed.

Gotta agree with Gripper - £1 in is very reasonable. Also proving that all the best things in life cost around £1. (see also: contents of poundland)

Well, much as Mr. Snowey & I would have loved to be part of the "ageing goff" contingent, he had to work and I was in Scarboro' listening to Howard Beaumont and his organ in the Spa

So when's the next barn-dance? :D
