communicating with the fans
I guess Eldritch is the one who wants zero communication with the fans of TSOM. But there are other members of TSOM, Adam & Mike (ok, they are only henchmen but still). Does anyone know what their opinions in this matter is. Do they have any interest of informing/communicating with the fans? They probably got orders from Eldritch to shut up.

Do you know something we don't? (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.) If so, what is it? Something about the Thinman?

Yeah, why are Heartlanders always so vague about this? is it true that Von has posted on this site, and if so, what's his user name?

your avatar does bear a striking resemblence to an older Kirk Douglas

Again, your vagueness is really frustrating.
and, contrary to what some of you assume, I think we can take it for granted that Von, who has always been very computer/internet savvy (he did his own website, for crying out loud!) HAS stumbled across this site at some point, and probably has had, at the very least, a quick look around.
so why WOULDN'T he have posted something here, anonymously?

I only know Von don't likes alot of his fans.
he don't likes Goths and certanly no freaks, so what would he be doing here?
Butt if he would be lurking around I don't think he would have posted something.
- I don't think there would be much he would want to tell us
and if he did he would want to do it right. (and we would all know it is him )

I think if Von posted something here, we'd never know it. He'd post in general chat about liquor, football, or computer games.Black Shuck wrote: so why WOULDN'T he have posted something here, anonymously?

I think you could be right. For all I know anyone on here (well, apart from the folks that I've met in "real" life) could be Von.Llamatron wrote:I think if Von posted something here, we'd never know it. *Edit to add: Hey, Andrew, if you are on here, you got anything you'd like to share with us?

I bet the Von has had a nosey round here. He must have a lot of time on his hands these days ... so what's he supposed to do when he's not playing bridge?
I've never been quite sure what he really thinks of his fans; you get the impression from a lot of interviews that he's pretty disappointed with the kind of people he attracts, and the way they interpret his lyrics and so on. I seem to recall an interview where he said he's never met anyone who has fully understood the lyrics - which I think is a little unfair as it does involve knowing just about every bloody Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan song, and probably a natural ability at crosswords. Doesn't he know that he makes us cry when he's nasty? Having said that, there have been a few instances where he appears to have said quite the opposite, so I don't know.
The more of a bastard he is, though, the more I love him, because I know it will p*ss him off.
