Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
i've just seen the video for the new robbie willaims single "radio" on one of those infernal mtv channels and during the intro & chorus he warbles and shouts in an overblown manner very similar to our very own herr eldritch!
and there's some VERY chameleons-like guitars chiming away in the background!
bizarre!
(a pretty ropey song on the whole, mind )
What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?

@QB - Do you mind if I say that I think your a bit weird
Why are YOU even watching Robbie "Gis A Drink" Williams videos - I thought the recent Forum DVD would be on frequent rotation
It's an awful song - a weird kind of new romantic pastiche, and doesn't seem to mean much. Let's hope it puts off some of those 14-year old girls from buying his records. Let the backlash commence...

Again and again and again...
I’m shocked that Radio is so dire. But at least it keeps Stephen Duffy off the streets. Robbie’s musical output has been going downhill ever since he chose to leave what was a very going concern at the time.

I have always found it puzzling and annoying that people take this gurning, cabaret singing twerp seriously. 14 year old girls, I can understand why, but when the 'indie' crowd began to think he was cool, I thought the world had gone mad.
His new song is 's**t', almost as bad as the Girls Aloud new single. They don't even try these days do they?
And we are nothing but experience in the eyes of nature,

Here, here Rivers! it's bad early Human League meets Soft Cell on a rainy Tuesday night in Romiley!

has he ever been any good, that is the question? take that! and party

No, a thousand times no. He's the 90s version of Donny Osmond or a Bay City Roller. Ok, some of his early songs had quality but were just plain slushy pop. The housewife's choice

But he's very good for Christmas Office Parties - you know, the bit where the DJ suddenly feels the need for the close proximity of women of a certain age and temperament

Lots of eggs are broken but no omelette yet! The Rollers were of their time, and were mainly taken seriously by young girls. Most pop music these days is made to appeal to little girls.

That sounds quite good actually.
He's hateable for, amongst other things, the most smug looking album cover in the world evah, on 'I've Been Expecting You'. I know its 'meant' to look smug but, sheeesh, yuk.
Also he's a Port Vale fan that owns an executive box at Stamford Bridge ffs....off with his head!

I read your post not having heard the song yet. I saw it had been on, but switched the channel quick. But after reading this, and next time I saw it was on, I forced myself to watch it. And indeed, I agree with you. Still not liking the song or the artist really though.
