The Abraham Zapruder home movie of the Kennedy assassination is the only known film of the entire assassination. It is a silent, 8mm color record of the Kennedy motorcade just before, during, and immediately after the shooting.

Zapruder's own first impressions of the assassination touched on the comic. He thought the President was "pretending" to be hit when the car emerged from behind a sign between Zapruder and Kennedy.

There is also a doctored version of the film. Conspiracy whacko Bill Cooper used to show it at his talks. The chaffeur turns around and shoots Kennedy. Cooper used to sell copies of this video - until he was shot and killed himself.
