Blood Money

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Hi, I'm new so please forgive me if this has been asked before or I've put it in the wrong place.

I've got a vinyl bootleg called Blood Money that I bought years ago for about a tenner and I wondered if anyone else had ever come across it.

The track listing on the sleeve is; Side 1; A Rock and A Hard Place, Floor Show, Knockin On Heavens Door, Body and Soul; Side 2; Possession, Emily, Amphetamine Logic, Lovie Lovie, Ghost Train and it says recorded live at London's Royal Albert Hall 18th June 1985.

However, the actual running order is; Side 1; A Rock and A Hard Place, Floor Show, Knockin On Heavens Door, Train, Body and Soul; Side 2; Possession, Emily, Amphetamine Logic, Louie Louie.

The actual vinyl has the same track listing on each side, which says Side 2; Possession, Emily, Amphetamine Logic, Louie.

I've also got a big black book (A4 size) with THE SISTERS OF MERCY written on the cover in purple. This contains many photos and cuttings of interviews and adverts for what seems to be everything from 1981 to the Sisterhood/m*****n/Ghost Dance formations. A lot of the pictures don't seem to be in the gallery.

Does anyone know anything about either of these?

Thanks for the help.

Well, bootlegs usually excell in messing up a) the correct track names b) the correct track order :D

Blood Money contains tracks from the audience recording of the Royal Albert Hall concert if I'm not mistaken (not the official recording). Is it the cover with the pentagram ? There's also a Japanese version with a pasted-on cover ...

It's probably worth something on eBay if you're seeking to sell it.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

Yes it's got a coloured Pentagram on the front. I'm not looking to sell it, I just wondered whether it was unusual.

Thanks for the replies.
