The following interesting factule may already be well-known to those in the know, but I just had a 'now fancy that!' moment while listening to the radio...
For some reason they just played a bit of Bing Crosby's Brother, Can You Spare A Dime...
They words run thus:
"Once I built a railroad
I made it run
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad
Now it's done
Brother, can you spare a dime?"
As I say: Now fancy that!!!! Another piece of the Lucretia jigsaw falls into place. Sort of...

Everybody here has seen 1959 and All That, right?
It's a treasuary.
Just checking. Move along now...

they're guilty of some real 6th form analysis and rarely come up with conclusion that anything he writes is coincidence or accident - they analise things to death
anyone care to tell me about the 52 daughters?
What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
Simply a passing of time. 52? 52 weeks in a year. Daugther? Female off-spring of Old Father Time. Revolution? From new year to year end. A passing of time.Quiff Boy wrote: anyone care to tell me about the 52 daughters?
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

Just when I began thinking that the "1959 and all that" webmaster must have too much spare time on his hands (and this is not an oblique reference to any historic, tragic figure with blood on his hands) I notice how sparse the 1959 website's overall content is. Fill in the blanks, please webmaster (and this is not an oblique reference to Russian roulette). Thanks!
.... there is no semblance of rock 'n roll around here!

Well, that's true, but the official story is that these thefts act as hyperlinks to whole new layers of meaning, and show that the meaning is wider and deeper than we thought. They set up resonances for those who can identify them, that tell us something more. At least, that's what Von's PR told me.

Or perhaps Mr. goth simply chose deliberately arcane lyrics to make himself sound all deep and intellectual.MrChris wrote:Well, that's true, but the official story is that these thefts act as hyperlinks to whole new layers of meaning, and show that the meaning is wider and deeper than we thought. Bet he never realised, though, that two decades later, people would still be sleuthing about trying to decipher every last line of his songs.

All I have done is a wee bit of editing to the sky and mirrored it so the fat one is on the left. There is a lot more still to do...
