Just watched a Peel Tribute half hour on VH2, following an hour of The Smiths live in 84 in Germany. One of the more unusual video presentations for a mainstream music channel... Smiths, Undertones, Fall, Joy Division, Captain Beefheart (they made videos?), Ramones, etc.

Bet they've never come up with a playlist like that before. A tribute in more ways than one...

All I need now is a bit of banging techno, then something I've never heard before and we're almost there...

Only not of course...
