Guitarspotter Question anyone ?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I'm a newbie here and have just spent a couple of pleasant hours wandering the forum and finding out all my old bootlegs !

A quick question for any other sad muso's out there - does anyone know what make / model of 12 string guitar Hussey used during the Sisters ? Its the 'drug' guitar that can be seen on Wake, US tour Boots and m*****n OGWT - any clues gratefully appreciated....

No idea, but welcome to Heartland.

Gray?

You wouldn't be an old, faded Goth would you...?

I'm sure you'll fit right in among the faded, jaded and occasionally degraded folks round these parts.

I managed to track my RS-800 down here in the US.

Below is a pic how Wayne's guitar would have looked like before he broke
out the can of spray paint.

Apparently the Japanese second-hand market is the place to look since they exported very few with most going to the domestic market.

Total Agreement!
